Pratidhwani presents Hatyaare - a Hindi play by the renowned Hindi playwright Dr. Narendra Kohli.

Coming to theatre in July, Hatyaare is brought to life under the direction of Agastya Kohli, an emerging face in the local Seattle theater scene. Starring an entire cast and crew based in Seattle , it is also the first major production by the drama wing of Pratidhwani. Hatyaare is co-sponsored by UW-Desi, South   Asia   Center , University of Washington , and the Ethnic   Cultural   Center , University of Washington .

Hatyaare is a satirical expose on middle-class morality. Set in mid 1980s New Delhi , India , the play is a dark comedy that will entertain the audience, as it forces each of us to think about our motivations, our greed, our fears and insecurities. This July, Hatyaare is sure to leave its mark on both the audience and on the local Indian theater.
