Carnatic Music, one of the three genres of Indian Classical Music is an ancient system having originated from Southern India.
Raman and Lakshman will demonstrate and explain the facets of Carnatic music, including the basic concepts of Raga, Tala and various types of compositions.
Further, the traditional approach to how music is taught will also be explained and demonstrated. The Lecture-Demonstration will be followed by a brief concert.
