Bonny Ghosal, President

One of the founding members of Pratidhwani, Bonny has been the force behind Pratidhwani Dance Wing till 2009. Since 2010, she has been the President. She is proud to see the enthusiasm, passion and teamwork her Pratidhwani family has shown over the years to take Pratidhwani to new heights. She looks forward to adding new members to the Pratidhwani family and many more successful years for Partdhwani. In her spare time she enjoys working at Nintendo (ah well!), dancing, singing, traveling with family and being 'mamma' to her daughter. With a misuician husband and a dancer/singer daughter, her home is warm with melody and rhythm always.

Gurvinder Pal Singh, Secretary

Gurvinder's stage career started way back in school (in 4th or 5th std) when his teacher needed girls for a dandiya dance and she couldn't find any. Instead she asked him to dance, with his hair open and tons of makeup! Since then Guru has been on stage, be it a dance or a skit or a mime (although never as a girl again!). In college - the dice got rolling with a mono act that he did in his first year, and never looked back. Guru was the dramatics rep at his IIT-D hostel and then the Cultural Secretary. At the end of years, he had earned a name in skits and dances. Aath Ghante was his first hindi play in which he had a major role, followed by Dr. Ahuja in Everyone Loves a Good Tsunami, Ensemble role in Gaare ki Deewar, Directed the Bollywood Ballerina Desi Girl, played the Kotwaal in Ek Tha Gadha and was director and Genie in Mausam Xpress, the King in Chitrangada and directed Darling Tere Liye. Other than MCing shows (Ina Mina Dika, Gunjan, IAWW Diwali, Cry Idol etc.) and skits, Guru is a member of the Pratidhwani Dance group, Dreams dance group and Shub Gill's Rhythms of India Bhangra group.

Prateek Dalvi, Treasurer

Prateek has been actively involved in the production and back stage work for Pratidhwani's Drama Wing starting 2008. He started as the Props Manager in "Gaare Ki Deewar" which then led to the fun filled role of 'Stage manager' in "Ek tha Gadha". Having enjoyed these experiences, he has also tried his hand at ticket sales at the box office with "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar". Ever eager to contribute to Pratidhwani's success, he took up the role of being the Treasurer for Pratidhwani in 2011. He hopes to learn a lot about this role from his predecessors and help grow Pratidhwani into a bigger organization.

Anindita Das, Light Music Wing Lead

Anindita is the lead of Pratidhwani Light Music Wing. She is a familiar face in the wing and has been performing with the team for past five years. Back in Bangladesh, where she is from, she was an enlisted singer in national television and got a music album released in 2008. She is new in leadership role and looking forward to lead this talented wing. Anindita is an engineer by profession and loves to sing, travel, cook and watch movies in her spare time.

Agastya Kohli, Drama Wing Lead

Agastya has led Pratidhwani's Drama Wing since 2005, and has written, directed and produced a number of productions under the Pratidhwani banner. He has also served as Lighting Designer for various Pratidhwani shows including Dil Ne Kaha, Yam Ne Bana Di Jodi and Chitrangada. As an actor Agastya was last seen on stage in Yellow Face (ReAct/PFP), Three Sisters (Ghost Light Theatricals) and Pork to the Future (PFP). He has also worked with SIS Productions, Theatre Schmeater, Live Girls! Theater, Driftwood Players and other local companies; and developing deeper relationships between Pratidhwani and these local theatre companies remains a Drama wing goal for 2012. Sanjib Saha, Youth Board Advisor

Sanjib, a founding member of Pratidhwani, leads the organization's charter of promoting our cultural heritage within the young generation of the community. A self-learned musician and a familiar name within the circle of Seattle's light Indian music, Sanjib has been associated with Pratidhwani's Light Music Wing since its inception. He immensely enjoys working with children and coaching them to pursue their artistic passion. Sanjib loves to read, travel, spend time with family and close friends, and of course, develop software for a living.

Tanvee Kale, Dance Wing Co-Lead

Tanvee considers herself an artist, although where she's from school, academics, education are everything. She creates code, she choreographs dances, she expresses emotions! So, while she works as a software engineer - code compiling and executing as expected, she is in love with dance and theater - the sounds of ghungroos and audience applause being her life's most prized moments. .



Amrita Bhandari, Dance Wing Co-Lead

Amrita's passion towards arts and the desire to give something back to the society drew her closer to Pratidhwani. She loves the stage and the thrill of performing. She has been organizing events from her college days and planning productions for the Dance Wing comes naturally to her. She is a software engineer by profession and when she is not dancing, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
