JO JEETA VAHEE SIKANDAR

What is 'Sikandar'?
Jo Jeeta Vahee Sikandar is a creative theatrical competition involving script writing, acting, directing and general stage presence. Multiple teams will compete with each other for the audience's votes.

How does it work?
Each team will select a scene of around 10 to 15 minutes from any movie of any language. This scene will be screened for the audience - as is - with no modifications. Then, the scene will be screened once again, but this time, with its volume turned off. The team members (who will be present on the stage) will now replace the original soundtrack with their own skills and talents. This is not an improvisational show - the teams select their own scenes, and write their own scripts ahead of time - to give us - the audience - their best effort at entertaining us.

Throughout the night, the audience will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite team. Your admission ticket gives you one vote. But who says democracy has to be fair? We all know you’re right, and others are wrong. So put your money where your mouth is, and buy as many additional votes as you’d like! Make sure your team wins, and we’ll donate the money to local non-profits!
