Dr Kaberi Sen (Odissi Dance Practitioner & Scholar)
As a visiting Faculty at the Department of Dance, Rabindra Bharati University and the graded artist of Doordarshan Kendra, Kaberi is a devoted disciple of Guru Smt Aloka Kanungo. She is fortunate to attend workshops conducted by Late Padma Vibhushana Guru Shri Kelucharan Mahapatra, Padma Vibhushana Guru Smt Sonal Mansingh, Guru Smt Sujata Mohapatra. Kaberi was awarded National scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India in the year 2002 and also from Rabindra Bharati University as the Senior Research Fellow of University Grants Commission. Kaberi has been teaching Odissi Dance and Tagore's idiom of Dance at her own institution Divine Inspiration. She has performed at several Dance & Music Festivals in India and in USA, Doha, Kuwait, Germany, France, England etc. Besides her performances she delivers lectures/seminars on various topics and her articles are published in several books and journals. She holds a Ph.D in the field.
Shri Anjan Saha (Sitar)
An empanelled artist of Indian Council for Cultural Relations, SpicMacay, eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Anjan matured under the strict yet caring apprenticeship of his Guru Pandit Debiprosad Chatterjee of Maihar Gharana. Presently Anjan has been taking training under the Sarod maestro Pt Tejendranarayan Majumder. Anjan received the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt of India in 1992 & 1998. He is a graded artist of Prasar Bharati. Jadu Bhatta Award was conferred to Anjan by Salt Lake Cultural Association in 2020. Anjan has been performing extensively in India and abroad (USA, Germany, Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Middle East, UK, Belgium, France) and conducting workshops at schools in Germany. Moreover, he had been working in an Indo-German project for several times. Besides performance at various Music Festivals, Anjan mesmerizes the audiences with his unique Music Compositions also, like Vasanti Shringer, Ananda Chakram, Kautuk and many more. Presently, Anjan is the teacher in Rabindra Bharati University.
Pandit Arup Chattopadhyay (Tabla)
Pandit Arup Chattopadhyay is one of the finest and one of the most sought after tabla artists of this generation. He is one of the top accompanists as well as a soloist on the international scale. His performances are admired for an exceptional tonal quality, clarity and a deep compositional repertoire, all presented with an innate sense of rhythm and melody. Arupda started his musical training at a very young age with his father, an eminent tabla artist himself, Pandit Pankaj Chattopadhyay. He then came under the tutelage of the world renowned tabla maestro, Pandit Shankar Ghosh and is one of his premier disciples. Arupda has been awarded top grade by all India radio and television. He has numerous tours to his credit, including the ones with the legendary Bharat Ratna, Pandit Ravi Shankar. He has accompanied various top instrumentalists &; vocalists. He is a highly sought after teacher and has been a visiting lecturer with the university of California, San Diego. He also served as a Professor of Tabla at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Institute of Indian Culture) at London.
