Pt. Nishad Baakre is one of the foremost torch bearers of the streams in classical music, where both the originality and the creative form go hand in hand. Pt Baakre has been privileged to learn from Gurus like Dr. Ram Deshpande, Pt Ulhas Kashalkar, Pt Dinkar Kaikini, Dr Arun Dravid and Pt Madhukar joshi. The exponent of 3 gharanas, Gwalior, Agra Jaipur, Pt Bakre can render the forms of these gharanas at command along with the flow of creative exploration.
Shri Abhay Datar started learning Tabla from his father Shri Prabhakar Datar & later from the noted Tabla player Pt. Shri Suresh (Bhai) Gaitonde. He is one of the most sought after Tabla Accompanist for Classical Vocal accompaniment. He Had the privilege of being associated with the famous Classical Vocalist, Pandit Yashwant Bua Joshi of Gwalior Gharana along with many other noted musicians. Along with presenting numerous concerts in India and abroad, he has several CDs, and records to his credit. He has regularly performed for Doordarshan and is also an approved artist of ALL INDIA RADIO and other Television channels. He is also associated with the Mumbai university's Music Department since last 30 years.
Shri Anant Joshi began musical training from father Pt. Achyut Joshi & has committed excellence in performance by valuable guidance from Pt. Vishwanath Kanhere. Along with a degree in economics, he has a Sangeet Alankar in Harmonium from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay, Miraj. His other accomplishments include a Fellowship as an Outstanding Artist of India from the cultural ministry, Best music director award at Maharashtra Rajya Natya Mahotsav, and Pt. Ram Marathe Rajya Yuva Purskar at Thane Municipal Corp.
